Canine Teams will be briefed on the required minimum standards set forth by the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board. Certification will involve vehicle search, building search and parcel/baggage search. Teams will be tested on the following substances: cocaine, crack cocaine, heroin, cannabis, & methamphetamines.

 

Teams should bring their basic equipment collar, lead, reward, and rain gear if needed.
