Course Content:

This course prepares soon-to-be or newly promoted supervisors for success in their new roles. The program also serves as a cornerstone for future management and leadership development by introducing participants to principles and practices they can rely on throughout their careers.

Participants will acquire critical, fundamental skills and tools that equip them for success as front line supervisors, such as:

~ Identifying leadership styles                 

~ Motivating, evaluating, and enhancing employee performance

~ Communicating with management, staff and the community

~ Managing risk During this course participants study and demonstrate their understanding of current and emerging topics for immediate application on the job.
