The simulator offers the opportunity for officers to react to scenarios using verbal commands and officer presence, OC spray, Taser, and firearms. This is a very interactive training environment. Upon completion of a scenario officers may be asked to provide a brief narrative about what happened in order to address potential areas of improvement in their use of force documentation.
Officers are required to bring duty belts, but NO FIREARMS, AMMUNITION, OC or TASERS will be allowed in the classroom. There is a limit of 8 students per session.
