PURPOSE OF COURSE: The purpose of this course is to help Officers and non-sworn personnel realize and embrace their leadership roles in their organization.
COURSE DESCRIPTION: Often officers believe they have little or no value within their organization except to make arrests, write reports and issue citations. The reality is, an organization's true strength is their people, since they are the ones that are interacting with the public numerous times every day and are either improving the organization's brand or damaging it. Supervisors don't have enough time in a day to repair issues created by officers that don't think about the agencies brand and credibility. This course was created to empower officers to be the leaders the public expect during these difficult times, while at the same time helping them develop ways to grow their leadership long after the class ends. This class is especially beneficial to FTO's, civilian trainers and those interested in moving up in the organization, but all officers, deputies, troopers, or agents will find this class life changing.

• Students will know and understand Mindset and Organizational Ownership• Students will know and understand proper Leadership
