The Ogle county Sheriff's Office will be hosting a dispatch/patrol training on Tuesday, September 26th and September 27, 2017 at the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office. 

 

A Medical Dispatch Doctor (MD 1) will be present to discuss their services, looking at the equipment that they have available and how they can assist  emergency services in Ogle County.  There will be 4 sessions total (2 each day), at 1 hour each.  The REACT helicopter may also be coming be present to provide some insight on their operation as well.

The objectives are:

1.     What type of medical calls could their services be utilized for.

2.     What type of signs/symptoms should the dispatchers be asking about in order to determine the value of utilizing MD 1.

3.      Proper policy and procedure to activate the services.

Ogle county has requested a site code for EMD Continuing Ed hours for  dispatchers.
