This training fulfills the requirement of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and United States Environmental Protection Agency (OSHA/USEPA) final rule for emergency response personnel who may be the first on-the-scene at a hazardous materials incident. This course is directed to law enforcement officers.
The Illinois Department of Labor enforces the rules within all state, county and municipal work sites. This is mandatory training and non-compliance can result in citation and fine under the Illinois Department of Labor rules.
